| 概要 | The study conducted experiments on spray icing with urea-doped water were carried out on flat-plate and cylindrical specimens. Cylindrical specimens of different diameters and a flat-plate facing wind were tested with varying wind speeds and spray particle sizes. Results showed that about half of the sprays froze on cylinders of 165 mm and 520 mm diameters, while the icing rate exceeded 50% for a 60 mm diameter. This suggests the diameter's effect on icing rate per impinging water varies between 60 mm and 165 mm diameters. Icing weight per unit cross-sectional area increased with decreasing diameter. The shape of icing on cylinders deviated from elliptical as diameter decreased. The icing rate of the flat plate is plotted as a function of its width. The coefficient of determination for the logarithmic approximation is 0.77, which is in good agreement. |
