| 概要 | To improve drought tolerance of potato crop, improvement of its root system is one of the most promising way. However, physiological function of root system was poorly understood in potato crop. Since timing and intensity of drought stress widely vary among environment, contribution of root system to drought stress avoidance is required to be understood on a physiological basis. In this experiment, we clarified varietal difference of hydraulic conductance and its relation to root system. In addition, from view point of water relations, contribution of hydraulic conductance on drought tolerance was evaluated. |
