| 概要 | Let o(S_n) be the split realization of the orthogonal Lie algebra. The author constructs central elements C_n(u) for arbitrary u in the universal enveloping algebra of o(S_n), using column determinants. Then he calculates the image of C_n(u) under the Harish-Chandra isomorphism. As a corollary, answering a question raised in [Itoh and Umeda, Compositio Math. 127 (2001)]. He also reveals the relation between his central elements and the central elements constructed with double determinants. |
