概要 The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of bouldering experience on General Self-Efficacy (GSE). The subjects in this study involved 29 freshman of Hokkaido University of Education Iwamizawa (HUEI) who registered the class “Physical Education (PE) Ⅰ” in 2017 and 2018. It also involved 19 male and female who participated bouldering class run by HUEI and Shinko Iwamizawa as a regional alliance activity. The data were collected before and after the bouldering experience five times using General Self-Efficacy (GSE) scale developed by Narita et al. the result shows as follows. 1) The participants showed significantly increase in GSE scores between before and after the first experience. 2) The participants of PE class showed increase in GSE scores between before and after the first and the third experience. 3) There was no difference in the effect between male and female all times.
