研究内容

関数解析学、特に凸解析学における諸問題に取り組んでいます。凸関数や凸集合に関する基礎理論は、極値問題や最適化理論等の解析学の分野に限らず数学全般によく現れる重要なものですが、未解決問題や新たな理論展開の可能性がいろいろと残っています。具体的には順序線形空間における上限の概念の一般化や、空間の完備化の構成及びその表現について研究の他、現在は、Banach空間の幾何学的定数に関する課題、absolute normをもつBanach空間の研究を中心に進めています。

「解析学Ⅰ～Ⅴ」、「初等算数」、「自然科学入門」、「数学入門」、「解析学特論Ⅰ」、「解析学特別演習Ⅰ」
講義内容
　おもに微分積分学、集合と位相を内容とする講義を担当しています。できるだけ応用を取り上げ数学がどのように役立つ学問であるかを解説します。また、そこでは単に計算能力や知識の量だけでなく、論理的な思考力や応用力を高めることも大きな目的としています。ほんの入り口のみではありますが、現代数学の基本的な考え方に触れそのおもしろさを実感すること、また時には最新のトピックスや有名な未解決問題などを紹介することで数学に興味がもてるようにと考えています。
